SITRA will implement Water Industrial Management (WIM) at the facilities of a major industrial group dedicated to the bottling of beverages, which needed - for quality and food safety reasons - a system that would allow it to monitor the state of its production and the characteristics of the product to be packaged in real time.

Thus, thanks to WIM, the company will be able to control, in all its plants and bottling lines throughout the country, those parameters considered relevant to certify the quality of the packaged product, such as conductivity, redox, temperature and pH.

To achieve this, SITRA will install sensors on all of the company's production and bottling lines, as well as controllers that communicate via Modbus protocol with the WIM Gateway. For this purpose, a 4G modem will be placed in each plant, which will send the information collected by the WIM Gateway to the cloud in an encrypted manner.

Another advantage of this platform is the ability to access the collected data later and from any browser, which will allow the company to have a data history to trace the quality of the packaged product in case of any possible claim.

In addition, WIM will create real-time alerts in case of parameter variations outside of the established limits, allowing continuous quality control of the packaging on each production line.

With all this, thanks to the implementation of SITRA's IoT platform for the management and control of industrial water, the client will be able to unify the packaging parameters of each of the different plants in a single tool and, in this way, manage the processes better and faster.

SITRA, for its part, continues to contribute to the digitalization of companies, allowing its clients to be more competitive in their processes, increasing and improving quality control and thus fully embracing the concept of Industry 4.0.
