As part of our commitment to continuous improvement, at SITRA we have implemented the Lean methodology. This management procedure allows us to create tools to optimize working times and eliminate potential waste, thereby achieving greater efficiency in the performance of our various projects.
This change responds to the needs arising from the enormous growth our company has experienced in recent years, which required us to implement a continuous improvement method to continue expanding our business in an organized and efficient manner. This, coupled with the fact that most of our clients already had a continuous improvement method in place, compelled us to seek alternatives that would allow us to continue meeting their expectations. And the Lean methodology emerged as the best alternative.
Implementing the method has required a concerted effort from our entire team, especially in obtaining the necessary training for this implementation, as well as in applying new ways of working.
However, after a few months of working with this methodology, we have found that these efforts have been worthwhile, as this procedure has provided us with tools that allow us to control our projects in all their phases, as well as detect potential conflicts. In this way, we have opportunities for improvement, anticipating potential problems in most projects.
Thus, the implementation of the Lean methodology has resulted in greater efficiency in SITRA's projects, works, and services. This translates into a considerable improvement in the quality of service offered to our clients, at increasingly competitive costs, fulfilling the single and primary objective we set when we took the step of implementing this system: to achieve greater customer satisfaction.
