Sitra's commitment to equal treatment and opportunities for women and men has once again been demonstrated with the implementation of its first Equality Plan. This tool, in addition to certifying the company's commitment to developing policies that promote parity, aims to foster all kinds of actions that contribute to mitigating any possible situation of discrimination between men and women.
The company has included specific measures to ensure an effective balance in areas such as access to employment, promotion and training; remuneration policy, occupational health, as well as work-life balance, among other aspects.
“At Sitra, we are deeply committed to equal opportunities in the workplace. This Equality Plan demonstrates the importance we place on caring for our team, which has made possible the exponential growth the company has experienced in recent years,” said Ricardo Saez, the company’s CEO.
For the negotiation of this plan, the current regulations have been taken into account, Organic Law 3/2007 for the effective equality of women and men, as well as its recent updates, reflected in Royal Decree-Law 6/2019, and regulated by Royal Decree 901/2020 which regulates equality plans and their registration, and Royal Decree 902/2020 on equal pay between women and men.
