The digitalization of industry and sustainability were the main themes of the joint edition of Hispack & FoodTech Barcelona. The International Trade Fair for Machinery, Technology and Processes in the Agri-food Industry, held in Barcelona, coincided this year with HISPACK, which focuses more on packaging for the agri-food industry.
In this past edition, more than 40.000 visitors and 1.100 exhibitors from 30 different countries, including SITRA, gathered at the Gran Via venue of Fira de Barcelona.
Throughout the event, we explained to all the clients, collaborators, and engineering firms that were kind enough to visit our stand our experience in industrial water treatment and the new technologies we apply to improve facilities. We also showcased our main advances related to the integrated water cycle in industry, as well as the most cutting-edge technical solutions in the treatment and regeneration of industrial water.
In this regard, in addition to our wide range of chemical products, we have showcased the advancements in process management and optimization that have resulted from the development of WIM by SITRA, the software for control, data acquisition, and online facility administration. This innovative system, among other advantages, allows users to manage operations in real time from any internet-connected device.
At SITRA, we understand that these should be the fundamental principles upon which our company's services must be based to meet current market demands. This, together with the fact that the agri-food industry is our main sector of activity, led us to decide to participate in this edition of FOODTECH.
