SITRA has begun maintenance and operation of the wastewater treatment plant of a prominent theme park in Toledo, after completing its construction.

The facility also has a water regeneration system after treatment for use in watering green areas.

In this regard, the company was responsible for designing, equipping, installing and starting up the wastewater treatment plant that serves the park and has a coarse collection system and a compact treatment plant for sand removal, grease removal and screening, as well as a homogenization system and aerobic biological treatment, followed by tertiary treatment by continuous silica filtration and disinfection by ultraviolet radiation and hypochlorite.

A complete treatment system that guarantees the quality of the regenerated water for its reuse in the park itself.

Currently, SITRA is in the process of installing a sludge line that will complete the wastewater treatment system for the park and which, according to forecasts, will be fully operational this month.

The design of the facility responds to the forecast of achieving a treatment flow rate of up to 1.400 m3/day within the next few years.
