The Valencian Institute of Business Competitiveness (IVACE), through the Digitaliza grant program for digitalization projects for SMEs, has financially supported a project to install the WIM platform, promoted by SITRA, in a newly built factory dedicated to the agri-food sector.
This innovative management and control software enables the integration of all types of data related to industrial water management into a single, multi-platform system. In addition to facilitating process automation, control, and optimization, it allows users to obtain information and manage processes in real time from any internet-connected device.
In the case of this facility, the use of WIM will improve the management of the wastewater treatment plant that serves the facility and reduce maintenance costs by anticipating potential equipment failures through the generation of alerts with specific notifications for operators, thus facilitating maintenance tasks. These improvements will result in more effective resource management, increased energy efficiency, and the development of more sustainable and environmentally friendly processes.
